Grandma Finds Additional Benefits to Homeschooling

More Benefits to Homeschooling

I am writing a homeschooling research paper for my online class and want to add that in addition to all of the above benefits of homeschooling, my daughter loves the fact that she does not have to take her daughter to school nor pick her up.

She lives in Houston, Texas where traffic is horrendous both ways, in the morning and in the afternoons, on highway 288. She is not only saving money on gas, but her stress levels have tapered down due to not having to fight that traffic and worry whether she will be there on time or not.

Diane, kudos to you for continuing to further your education, and also for picking what could be a controversial topic for your online class.

I agree that not having to fight traffic during the busiest times of the day is definitely a wonderful benefit to homeschooling, especially for those who live in metropolitan areas.

You know the saying, "If mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy." As a parent, our stress level has a direct effect on our kids and they respond to it... usually in a negative way. Not only will your daughter enjoy this benefit while homeschooling, I'm sure your granddaughter will too. Thanks for sharing. Blessings, Heather :)
