Special Offer for Free Homeschool Material

Do you belong to a homeschool group? Enjoy some beautiful, free homeschool material compliments of the National Endowment for Humanities.

What is NEH?

NEH is an independent grant-making agency of the United States government dedicated to supporting research, education, preservation, and public programs in the humanities.

On February 26, 2008, President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush launched the National Endowment for the Humanities' (NEH) new Picturing America initiative at the White House.

"Picturing America is composed of forty, carefully selected works of art spanning several centuries—all by American painters, sculptors, photographers, and architects.

The NEH will distribute large, high-quality reproductions of these images, along with a teachers resource book, lesson plans, and materials, to schools and libraries nationwide."

And the best part?

Homeschool organizations are included in this special educational program.

Spread the Word...

If you belong to a homeschool group, you will want to pass along this information to your group leader.

Qualified home school CONSORTIA (home school associations, organizations and co-operatives) will receive absolutely free, a comprehensive package of materials that includes:

Forty large, high-quality color reproductions of the selected masterpieces (24" x 36");

• A comprehensive, illustrated teacher's resource book (tailored for all grade levels) providing a wide range of ideas and background information to support educators using the works of art in core subject areas; and

Additional resources and lesson plans available through the Picturing America Web site, PicturingAmerica.neh.gov.

Please note: Individual families can not apply for this free homeschool material, but homeschool organizations can.

Once your group leader receives the kit, all resources will be available for you to use, either in your co-op, or for use in your home. (Just don't forget to return the items you borrow, so others can benefit from them too.)

Our group's shipment arrived in September... everyone who sees it, is so impressed.

What your group will receive is absolutely amazing and beautiful!

Handy Carrying Case.

The 40 pieces of art come in a handy carrying case that will provide protection as well as storage convenience.
