Free Teacher Appreciation Day at Henry Ford

Free Teacher Appreciation Day at Henry Ford

Michigan homeschooling parents can enjoy free admission to Henry Ford attractions on Teacher Appreciation Day!

Twice a year - once in Fall and Spring, all home educators are invited to the Henry Ford/Greenfield Village Teacher Appreciation Day.

You and one guest receive FREE admission to Henry Ford Museum, Greenfield Village, Ford Rouge Factory Tour and IMAX Theatre. This is a perfect opportunity to preview the many resources for teaching and learning that The Henry Ford offers to you and your family.

Just a few of the many activities you can participate in during the day:
  • Explore curriculum-aligned exhibits in Henry Ford Museum
  • Participate in hands-on activities from Building a Model T in Henry Ford Museum to operating advanced tools used on the assembly line at the Ford Rouge Factory Tour
  • Meet the Wright Brothers and Thomas Edison in Greenfield Village
  • Preview educational films at Michigan’s largest IMAX Theatre and more!
You can pre-register for the event, or pay at the door - proof of educator status is required.

Typically, the Henry Ford Teacher Appreciation Day is held on the last Saturday in September and the third Saturday of April.

This is pretty cool - here is a special 50% off membership coupon exclusively for teachers and home educators!
