Earth*School Homeschool Preschool Curriculum

Fun, Affordable Homeschool Preschool Curriculum

Frugal mom discovers a super affordable homeschool preschool curriculum that's perfect for toddlers and preschoolers...

We are using the Earth*School homeschool preschool curriculum "Under the Sea" unit (found on Etsy, of all places) for my 23 month old son. He has some medical issues, and is home all day with private duty nursing, and we really wanted enriching activities for him rather than them letting him just watch TV.

This is the first thing like this we've done, so we spent a couple weeks reading through and planning before we started; we've been actively working through the activities for a couple of weeks now.

This curriculum works really well for us. There are several activities planned for several different categories of learning (math, language, nature/science, art, nature table, etc) - they even have a cooking category, which I think is really neat for toddlers and preschoolers. All told, there were 42 activities, plus a suggested book list and a suggested field trip list.

I felt this was super affordable - like most of their units, this PDF (delivered by email) was $10, and most everything required is general craft supplies (or can be adjusted to the things you have on hand).

I have printed each activity on a separate sheet of paper so that I can set up each activity in a separate folder with all required materials for our caregivers' convenience. This way, too, we can revisit some of these activities when my son is older.

Great review, Janet! I have never heard of this homeschool preschool curriculum before. Thanks for sharing. Blessings, Heather :)
