"Don't Mess with My ABeka!"

When I first started homeschooling my children, I was grasping for material anywhere and everywhere, worried that I wouldn't cover all the mandated requirements. Then I was introduced, by a friend, to the ABeka homeschool line, and my worries began to fade.

I found, with ABeka, that a complete course had no need for supplemental material; each and every course covers the material thoroughly. With the aide of their teacher's manuals and guides, I have never felt pressured or worried about not being able to answer my child's questions with any subject.

Not only is the ABeka homeschool curriculum complete, it is done in such an interesting fashion that my children actually enjoy learning! There is enough material and subject study that if there is some question to any one section, it is answered eventually. We do find some of the sections repetitive, so we skip over anything we feel we already have a good grasp on.

On an interesting note...my kids don't want me to get rid of their schoolbooks, especially the history and science books. They like to return to them just for browsing. How many times have you ever heard of that? Not me...I remember not being able to get rid of my school books fast enough!
