Christian-based Homeschooling Curriculum by Horizons & Christian Light Publications

Christian-based Homeschooling Resources

Mom recommends two options to parents looking for Christian-based homeschooling curriculum that’s both challenging and interesting for kids.

I have been using Alpha Omega's Horizons curriculum for the first couple of grades for years now and love it! It's colorful, captivating, and the teacher books are very well laid-out. My kids are well ahead of their ages, and this keeps them challenged without boring them!

I just started using Christian Light Publications this year and will continue to use them from 3rd grade forward for the rest of my children. They are an amazing, Biblically-based curriculum that are also challenging and interesting for the kids. I love the breakdown into Light Units, as it helps the kids feel an accomplishment after each Light Unit they complete!

Wow, talk about two completely different types of curriculum, yet you recommend both! :) I too have used Christian Light Publications – it was our first taste of "traditional" curriculum after using unit studies during my children's elementary years. We enjoyed it as well, especially the price! Thanks for sharing, Shanda. Blessings, Heather
