Kids Explore Biology is a wonderful homeschool science curriculum that works well for multiple children, as well as age groups. It is a Christian based science program that lays out each lesson as well as hands on activities to go along with the lesson. Most of the activities are things you already have with in your home or can be easily gotten.

Along with reproducible pages to go along with the lessons, there are vocabulary words, as well as scriptures to memorize. Prior to every lesson there is a list of things that are needed; at the end of every unit there is a unit review.

This curriculum can be adapted to fit any age group in grades K - 12. I believe, although, it is primarily for grades 3 - 6. I used it for grades K - 4 and had lots of fun. They also provide a book list of books you may want to obtain from the library to go along with the lessons.

For the ease of the book, the fun activities, and the excellent source of material, this book is well worth the price spent. This is a great beginning homeschooler's teaching manual.
