Bob Jones Homeschool Curriculum Review: First Grade

Bob Jones Homeschool Curriculum Review

Bob Jones Homeschool Curriculum Review

Check out why this home educator choose Bob Jones homeschool curriculum for her first grade daughter, as well as her BJU likes and dislikes...

We love Bob Jones homeschool curriculum (BJU). It was a bit overwhelming sorting through it all at first but once we started working in it, it all went very smoothly. There is so much information and activities to do that we quickly realized we would need to only use the most important for the lesson.

We will purchase Bob Jones for 2nd grade. It is a bit costly but the materials are great!

One drawback we found frustrating was the Bible curriculum must be purchased separately. I understand that some people don't care to have Bible lessons but with God acknowledged so often in the main courses (which I loved) I would think anyone wanting a non-Christian curriculum would explore other options. I would love it if they would consider adding the Bible to the main curriculum complete kit. I highly recommend this curriculum!

Kelly, thanks so much for sharing what you like, as well as dislike about Bob Jones homeschool curriculum. Clearly the benefits of using BJU outweigh any negatives. I like your point about the non-included Bible course - thanks for mentioning it. Wishing you continued success! Heather :)
