Bob Jones Homeschool Curriculum and HomeSat

I began using Bob Jones homeschool curriculum thirteen years ago when my oldest was in K-5. We began using the Bob Jones HomeSat when he was in 2nd grade. Through the HomeSat program we were able to receive classes for all of our children through a satellite channel directly from Bob Jones. They currently do not offer the satellite service, but they do offer the same material through a hard drive for your computer.

I have five children, and am VERY thankful that I have used the Bob Jones homeschool curriculum and the taped classes. It has helped me to be able to keep all five children working at the same time, so they are not waiting for me while I work with the other children.

Some of my children learn better through one-on-one teaching, so I have taught them myself, but the others do great with the taped classes. The cost of the hard drive is rather expensive. The satellite service was very reasonable.

I now have my oldest as a Senior and I will have soon completed a full 13 year teaching opportunity with him. Praise the Lord for His grace and strength for each day. Homeschooling has stretched me and the Lord has used it many times to teach me more about being Christlike.
