Apologia Homeschool Science Curriculum: Exploring Creation with General Science Review

Challenging, yet affordable homeschool science curriculum; Apologia makes learning science at home easy, with simple experiments that are tailored for a home setting.

We used Apologia homeschool science curriculum for the first time last year. It was for 7th grade science. Exploring Creation with General Science is a big book, but don't be intimidated. The size helped it hold up, and not look used by the end of the year; great benefit if you need it for more than one student.

We bought the Student Textbook, Solutions and Tests book, and the CD-Rom with the visual extras. We purchased the 2nd Edition. I thought the cost was in-line for the curriculum we received.

Apologia's General Science was a complete curriculum and, at times, challenging. It is a Christian text, but does talk about other worldviews as part of the education process.

I made up my mind to DO the science experiments, and we did 99% of them. Most experiments required items that we had around the house. The things we purchased were minimal and inexpensive. Apologia homeschool science curriculum really was worth it.
