Alpha Omega Lifepacs History and Geography Grade 5

The year's work, like all core Lifepacs, is divided up into 10 units that should each take about 18 or so days to complete. We found the material is quite challenging in that there is a bit too much for the child to read and answer in one go independently, so we work together on it, taking turns at reading out loud to each other. The self tests are too difficult for us first timers with this subject matter so we do the self tests as open book tests and the unit tests more as proper tests. The material is well presented and we have had a lot of fun learning all about the founding fathers and so on through history. We look forward to what 6th grade will offer us when we finally finish 5th grade later on this year.
