Alpha Omega Horizons for Homeschooling Kindergarten

Homeschooling Kindergarten Success!
Last year we used Alpha Omega Horizons reading/phonics and math for homeschooling Kindergarten. We liked it because it was simple to use. You did the phonics lesson, and then students use the reader to practice the lesson. Our daughter did very well with this homeschool curriculum and excelled quickly, which boosted her confidence. I'm glad we used something that she enjoyed; now we can't keep her out of books! The math was great as well, although there was a little too much review for us, so we skipped most of those lessons. To cut costs, I would not get the teacher guides; the workbooks explain each lesson adequately. Using homeschool curriculum or materials that you and your child enjoys = the key to successful homeschooling! Thanks for sharing about Horizons, Kelly; your money-saving tips is great.
