Adventures in My Father's World Homeschool Curriculum Review

by Jennifer
(Brewster)

My Father's World homeschool curriculum review and money-saving tips. Learn why this first year homeschooling mom will continue to use this curriculum with her family...

This our first year using Adventures in My Father's World homeschool curriculum. We are using a different English and math only because I didn't want to change those. This is such a great curriculum because it's bible, history, science and art all in one easy-to-follow and actually get-it-done weekly program.

There are a lot of great hands-on projects through out and it also makes it easy to incorporate homeschooling field trips along with what they are learning. I love how it has a book reference in back for library books to go along with what they are learning too.

With My Fathers World, it's easy to make it more challenging too if you have a bigger age gap. I have a 2nd and 3rd grader using it and we are going to use the next level for next year. This has really taken a lot off of me of what I would have to normally plan to make sure the kids are learning everything they need to. Last year felt like such a guessing game trying to make sure they were learning enough and this has so much research behind it that I didn't have to do, it's just been awesome.

I love homeschooling and this only being our second year this has really saved us money and time and the kids really enjoy everything we are learning about. The nice thing is you can just pick out what you need to for this of course. You need the teacher's book and a few of the books like the science books and bird cards and stickers for the kids but you can get most of the books through the library. I like to reserve them ahead of time so I know that I'll have what I need. You can make photo copies of the student sheets too to save money.

Jennifer,
Thanks for taking the time to share a My Father's World homeschool curriculum review. Your thoughts and experience will help other parents who are looking for an easy-to-follow Christian homeschooling program. Thanks for including some great money-saving tips too! Blessings, Heather :)
