Advantages of Homeschooling:
Homeschooling Means FREEDOM

by Diane
(San Antonio)

One of the advantages of homeschooling for our family is freedom. We are free to set our own schedule and free to explore whatever topic in any way we choose.

Our boys, 10 and 11, are always searching for information at the library, the web or our own home library. They learn even more by visiting museums and historical sites on our family outings, where we give them all the time they need to explore.

We recently took a trip to Alpine, Texas where my husband received his masters degree in geology. What a wonderful way that was for the boys to learn about their dad and God's wonderful creation.

We took this trip in the spring, which is the perfect time to visit the desert lands of West Texas. There was something for everyone in our family, including a Pizza Hut and a Catholic Church. We can't wait to go back!
