Adaptable Schedules Provide Additional Advantages to Homeschooling

I know that there are many great advantages to homeschooling, having done it now for six years.

I am going to share with you one of the minor, although still valuable, advantages that we have discovered.

This may sound silly but one of the advantages of homeschooling for our family is being able to make our dentist and pediatric (and even haircut or vetrinarian) appointments in the mornings without having to "miss school" and also when the offices are less busy.

It may seem like a little thing, but this has really been a big benefit to our busy homeschool lifestyle and our family member’s schedules. Plus, we get to visit our doctors and dentists when they are less busy and have more time for us.

Homeschooling families are generally more flexible with their schedules, and can adapt their daily routines, to accommodate appointment times that others may find difficult to do.

It is easier for our family to squeeze into those occasional openings left by others who cancel their appointments.

The appointment-scheduling receptionists just LOVE us! :)
