A.C.E. Kindergarten With Ace and Christi Homeschool Review

I home taught my oldest for the first time this year using Kindergarten with Ace and Christi. I am an A.C.E. 'home school graduate', and remembered how I loved the curriculum, so I went back to it when it came time for me to teach my children. My son had a great time in Kindergarten, and he loved getting to know all the characters. I love that these same characters will grow up with him through the years, like reading an ongoing story. I thought that the songs that came with the curriculum were a little cheesy and debating whether to use them or make up some of my own. He, however, thought they were great and wanted to listen even if it wasn't school time. The thing I loved most about this program is it teaches the child to be an independent learner. He's developed a love of figuring it out for himself. I feel the program was very affordable compared with others that I looked into. It came with everything I'd need to get started: from a progress chart to star stickers to a report card. It had great crafts that my son loved, and were easy and affordable to make. Many of the craft supplies could be found at my local dollar store. It also gave ideas for field trips. I fell in love with A.C.E. as a student, and have fallen in love all over again as a teacher.
