ACE Homeschool Curriculum Features and Benefits

by Andrea Curtis
(Selma, Alabama)

Considering ACE homeschool curriculum for your child? Check out some features and benefits of this popular, Christian homeschooling program written by one happy mama! :)

I love ACE homeschool program. It is well structured and allows each child to proceed at his or her own pace. The curriculum offers students to gain a wealth of knowledge about the world from a biblical perspective. The content is interesting and offers just the right amount of review needed for mastery. Memory verses acquaint the students with the Bible. Too bad this curriculum cannot be offered in public school, it would accommodate some of the gaps public school students experience.

Thanks for helping others learn more about ACE homeschool curriculum, Andrea; your thoughts are appreciated! Blessings, Heather :)

ACE Homeschool Curriculum Review: K-4

ACE Homeschool Curriculum

ACE Homeschool Curriculum

My son loves the ACE homeschool curriculum. This is a Christian based curriculum and moves at a wonderful pace. Each full year curriculum has 12 paces. A pace is a workbook which contains the lessons and assignments. Each pace has it's own exam as well.

For those of you who want a Christian based curriculum, this is a good one. All lessons are self-contained in the individual paces. I have used this for Ryan since Kindergarten and he is entering 5th grade in Sept. Each pace is approximately $2.40 - $3.00, you can purchase them as a full year curriculum or individually.

Thanks for the ACE homeschool curriculum review, Kelly! Your thoughts are helpful and appreciated! Blessings, Heather :)

ACE Homeschool Review - 8th Grade and 6th Grade

by Rhoda
(Alaska, USA)

Concerned mom homeschools after public school nightmare; read her ACE homeschool review and story...

I love ACE homeschool curriculum! I did ACE Paces as a teenager myself (a long time ago) when I finished school as a homeschooler. Both of my kiddos have done them in early years at a Christian school here in Alaska (most Christian schools use them), and now we have returned to them after a few years of public school.

I tried public school and I was sickened at how liberal and new age it is and how evolution is taught now as fact, but Creationism is mocked. My 8th grade student was literally mocked by the teacher on DAY 1 of school this year!! Forget that! He was failing his grades and I went in to meet with his teachers NUMEROUS times, corresponded through emails and telephone calls and the school counselor never called me one time to explain any plan to correct the path, etc. SO, time to yank them out and get them back on track! And I definitely know I want to do it with ACE.

ACE Paces are very Christian and teach great morals and principals as well as Christian teachings. I love their electives and the entire way they work. Very digestable for the kiddos and they can work at their own pace - very great, and for a very modest and reasonable price too.

Congratulations on your decision to homeschool your children, Rhoda! Thanks for sharing your ACE homeschool review AND sharing story too; I'm sure there are MANY parents who can relate to what you went through. Enjoy the time with your kids! Blessings, Heather :)

ACE Homeschool Material: Third Grade

by Monica
(TN)

My daughter has used the PACE or ACE homeschool curriculum for one year now, which was her third grade year, and we really enjoyed it. She was able to read and understand what she was learning and did it at her own pace. I like how easy it is to work with. I am considering it again for next year and would recommend it to any homeschool family, especially first timers.

Monica, thanks so much for helping other parents learn about ACE homeschool curriculum. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated! Blessings, Heather :)

ACE Homeschool Curriculum Review AND Words of Wisdom for New Homeschooling Parents

by Tiffany Lyon
(Woodward, Ok, USA)

Homeschooling mom of four shares a money-saving ACE homeschool curriculum review as well as wonderful words of wisdom for all new homeschooling parents. Read her review...

We have been using ace homeschool curriculum for a little over a year now. I love this program because it keeps them on the level that is right for them. In my family we have four children homeschooling, as much as I like to try and be supper woman I am not.

ACE curriculum allows a lot of independent work for the older students, so you have time to help the younger with more one-on-one. Depending on what your specific needs are it can be fairly cheap or pretty expensive. With ACE you have the option to do it all on your own, or be through a school accreditation program. We chose to go solo so that it would not be as expensive. We also cut a lot of cost by not getting all the score keys.

In subjects that my husband or I are good at we just grade ourselves which cuts cost. We also order quarterly instead of yearly. Now, in the end I believe you pay a little more this way but if you don’t have a lot of extra money to put in all at once this is the way to go.

If I were to offer advice to a new homeschooling family, advice I wish I would have known, it would be: No homeschool curriculum will fit for every family, no two children will learn the same way, and it is ok to feel like you are going to die some days and make mistakes, because tomorrow God gives you another whack at it.. Every day it seems as something else pops up, but it does get easier!! Find what works for you and your kids and have fun while leading your family in a wonderful adventure!!

Tiffany, thanks for taking the time to help others learn more about ACE homeschool curriculum and sharing how it's working for you and your family. I appreciate your advice to new homeschooling parents – such words of wisdom! Continue to enjoy the journey! Blessings, Heather :)
