Hate carrying around heavy textbooks? Home educator shares some energy-saving benefits of ACE homeschool curriculum...

We have just started to use ACE homeschool curriculum (also known as Accelerated Christian Education) and so far we are liking it. I like that each subject also encourages reading comprehension, no matter what the subject.

I like that ACE is Christian focused and that the workbooks, called Paces, are small and manageable. We aren't carting around huge books all year.

Thanks for your thoughts about ACE, Kandi; its much appreciated! Blessings, Heather

ACE/PACE

by Tiffani

After being help back in public school, ACE/PACE is changing this young girl's educational journey, thanks to a friend!

A friend suggested ACE/PACE as an independent student learn curriculum. My daughter was very much interested in learning, although she was being held back in public classrooms.

After starting ACE she has completed 4th grade & is beginning 5th before the fall. This curriculum teaches independence, honesty, and self-confidence.

In addition to the biblical character traits and valuable lessons, the academics are positively on target for the grade levels. I am now using ACE for my high school & middle school kids.

What a great testimony for ACE/PACE curriculum and for how homeschooling can make a difference for a child! Thanks for sharing; your review will be helpful to others. Blessings, Heather :)

Accelerated Christian Education - ACE

by Cynthia
(Michigan)

Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) works for each of Cynthia's six children... and they all learn differently!

I have been homeschooling for several years. We have six children and they are all different, especially when it comes to educating them. There are many curriculum that I love, but I want to comment on Accelerated Christian Education (ACE).

I have a couple of children who require special attention. They are not special needs children. I opted to use the ACE program for those children.

ACE is a self-paced curriculum. The program is diagnostically individualized to meet a each child's specific learning needs and capabilities. Thus the child is at the level where he/she can perform for each subject. The program incorporates Scripture, Godly character building, and wisdom principles which is a plus in our family. The child is also encouraged to set goals, which I find has helped them with everyday life.

The material is presented in a simplistic form, which does not look overwhelming, as some other programs may appear.

As I stated before, there are other programs that I have used with some of my children and I love them. But every child learns differently. This program has been instrumental in our home.

Thanks for the well-written and informative Accelerated Christian Education review, Cynthia! Your ACE experience will definitely be helpful to others looking for an easy-to-use program for their family. Thanks also, for sharing how ACE has worked with your children's different learning styles and needs. I appreciate the time you took out of your busy day to help others! Blessings, Heather :)

ACE/PACE Curriculum

by Pamela Hall
(Bonifay, Florida)

Looking for a bible-based homeschool curriculum? ACE/PACE curriculum is highly recommended by this Florida homeschooling mom...

I have used ACE/PACE bible based curriculum for my son, Colton, for his 5th and 6th grade year of homeschooling. We plan on ordering again for his 7th grade year!

You get the record keeping set as well, which is wonderful. You get goal cards, a progress chart with reward stickers, as well as an attendance and grading sheet.

To me it is the perfect homeschool curriculum that leaves no doubt that your child is not missing anything.

Pamela,
Thanks for sharing your experience with the ACE/PACE curriculum. I appreciate that you included some helpful information about ACE's record-keeping materials, as keeping track of a child's work, grades and progress is a concern for many parents. Blessings, Heather :)

Accelerated Christian Education Curriculum

Accelerated Christian Education Curriculum

Accelerated Christian Education curriculum helps working mom to homeschool her high school son while working full-time; read her review...

I like most of the ACE curriculum for my 10th grader, who is now going to the 11th grade. I had home schooled him in the 5th grade using Accelerated Christian Education/School of Tomorrow Paces and they worked fine. I then enrolled him in a Christian Private School; he was on target but had a different Christian curriculum. He had finished out the school program in the 8th grade and I then enrolled him in a private school that taught the ACE/School of Tomorrow curriculum from the 9th grade to half of the 10th grade and I had to move away taking another job in another location. I was able to finish up where he left off with the PACES. My son is still on target, although some of the PACEs can be a little overwhelming for him, it is still a self-pace and easy-to-go-along curriculum, especially since I work full-time. He is able to follow through with his lessons without a problem. I really enjoy this curriculum.

Dorothy,
Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to help other parents learn more about Accelerated Christian Education curriculum. Many parents who work full-time do not think that they can also homeschool their child/ren. Your post is encouraging and will be helpful to those who are looking for a curriculum that will fit their family's needs and work schedule. Blessings, Heather :)
