Abeka/Bob Jones K-5 Homeschool Review

When I started my homeschool journey my daughter was 4 yrs old. I decided that I would start with Abeka K5 and use it over the next 2 yrs. It worked real well for us to stretch it out. As my daughter went into 4th grade I was introduced to Bob Jones curriculum.

The page lay out was more interesting for my daughter and seemed to keep her wanting to do her work. So we switched to all Bob Jones for her 4th and 5th grade.

My son started out with online school then 2 months into it, I switched him to Abeka then he'll will move to Bob Jones. Both I feel are excellent curriculums to use. Abeka I feel is better for the younger years, then move up to Bob Jones in or around 3rd grade.
