ABeka Makes our Lives Easier!

Busy mom of five, shares six super money and time-saving reasons why she uses ABeka homeschool curriculum with all her college-bound high schoolers.

I am a busy mom of five, and have been using ABeka for my high schoolers. This has made my life so much easier! There are many reasons why I recommend ABeka:

1. It meets all state standards and provides complete college preparatory courses.

2. Lessons are taught from a Christian worldview, and include scripture and biblical references, which reinforces what we teach in our home.

3. The curriculum package is complete and easy to use, with a teacher's manual, quizzes, and tests. Little or no prep time.

4. Very cost efficient! The price for a new text is less than other curricula, and it is easily found used as well.

5. So simple and user friendly, my older students can use it mostly independently.

6. This curriculum can be used formally as written, or modified to your liking. We follow mostly a Charlotte Mason, literature-based philosophy, so we use it as spine and add Great Books!

If you are looking for a complete, formal curriculum, ABeka may be a good choice for you, especially for the high school years. If you decide to use this for your younger children, you can always slow the pace and easily modify it to suit your needs.

Overall, I would recommend ABeka as a solid, thorough curriculum.
