ABeka Homeschool Curriculum on DVD: Grade 1

Busy homeschooling mom of four young children shares why she uses ABeka homeschool curriculum on DVD...

I am teaching my son 1st grade using ABeka homeschool curriculum. My mom works at a public school and cannot believe how advanced the ABeka program is. My son is at least a half a year ahead of the public schools.

ABeka is a great program. My favorite part is the bible study. My 6 year old can recite John 3:16-19 without missing a word. He also knows many, many more verses. What a blessing.

I am using the DVD program this year and it has been a big help with all of the subjects. I also have a three year old boy, and one year old twins. The DVD has really made a difference because a teacher is actually teaching the concepts. I am helping with crafts, grading papers and organizing his daily assignments, so they are ready for the day’s lessons.
