ABeka Homeschool Curriculum Advice

Do you love ABeka homeschool curriculum but feel overwhelmed with getting everything done? Here is some helpful advice...

I do love the Abeka homeschool curriculum. However, it can feel overwhelming to the children. I learned the hard way that we do not need to do everything in the books. We may only cover half of the material that I bought in a particular year. What we do get, though, seems to stick with us much longer.

My advice is to take the stress off yourself and your students. Go at a decent pace, cover what you realistically can, and wait until next year to do more. I have found that the ABeka curriculum reviews the previous grade thoroughly at the beginning of each year. This helps tremendously. So, we all need to do is just relax and have fun schooling. It will be over sooner than we realize.
