Abeka Homeschool Curriculum

Abeka homeschool curriculum benefits busy homeschooling mommy of four! Read her review and learn her simple tips for Abeka success.

Hello fellow Homeschool Moms,

I have four beautiful children, with that said the task of homeschooling angels can be daunting to say the least.

I have used Abeka off and on since I started homeschooling my oldest who is now in seventh grade. Although I've tried many curricula, I always come back to Abeka.

For me it is a complete and thorough curriculum that allows me to move at my own pace with my children. When one of my twins was having reading trouble I just slowed down and took him back to the beginning with his phonics program and caught him up.

I hear a lot of Moms saying it's too intense, and that's when I say, "Don't let your curriculum lead you, you direct it."

Next year I will give the dvd's a try just because teaching all the different grades became a bit too much of a challenge for me.

I love Abeka and although it has been a trying year, I cannot diminish the blessing that GOD has given me to raise my children, and hopefully give the best school experience I could find with Abeka book.

God Bless you All

Thanks, Shaunielle, for sharing how Abeka homeschool curriculum works for you and your family.

I like your tip about not letting your curriculum lead you. I think this a problem many of us face. Often we let our curriculum dictate; we push our kids to keep up, which zaps the joy of homeschooling from our day!
