Abeka Home Schooling Success
I like ABeka home schooling curriculum because it offers lesson plans and continuity throughout each of the subjects taught. I have used ABeka for three years so far. This coming Fall, 2009, I will start my 4th year: 1st grade for my son. We started schooling him as a three year old in preschool, and have continued up to today. It can be affordable if you share some of the books with others (and they share with you). Otherwise, paying full price can be quite expensive. Kudos to you, Geralyn, for knowing you were going to homeschool your son at such an early age. I always admire parents who know they are going to homeschool, even when their child is still a infant/toddler. I, on the otherhand, went through a very slow, gradual realization that I needed to homeschool my kids, and to be honest, wasn't too keen on the idea at first.
